my head was left bruised and sore due to being yanked and not taken care of at all. She was very rough and didn’t seem to care about that at all. i was also in the chair for 7 hours and a total of 10 minutes was spent talking… if that!! it finally after 7 hours got to the cutting stage and she asked how much i wanted off and i said around 2 inches and she showed me 2 inches and said that is perfect but then proceeds to cut around 6 inches off leaving me with no hair. She then panics and i can see it on her face and she is violently shaking when cutting my hair. She realised she’s cut too much off and says “ohh haha i had to cut quite a bit off cos it was dead” even tho 2 minutes ago she said she only needed to take 2 inches off but clearly cannot see measurements without using a ruler. I am so angry and upset that all my hair has been cut off, i have struggled for years to grow it to that length and finally got there and she took it from me. I will not recommend you to anyone as i am so upset with what has happened. I struggle with extreme anxiety and therefore couldn’t say anything and what was i supposed to do after she cut it all off? tell her to glue back ?? i wish i could have but i cant. Extremely disappointed with this and will not be returning. I hope to hear back soon.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated and we are dedicated to addressing thee concerns you have raised. Upon a thorough examination of the particulars of your concern, it appears there may be some misunderstanding or confusion. We would like to clarify the situation and provide some additional information. You had booked in for a full foil package including toner, treatments, cut and blow dry with our Apprentice using her 50% off introductory offer. Upon consultation it was brought to our attention that the service you required was not in fact a full foil package but a colour correction service. This meant that the hair had to be lifted at different intervals to ensure an even result and maintain the hairs integrity. Every care was taken to do this. However, due to the apprentices inexperience and level of skill to complete this service a senior stylist had to assist with the application resulting in discomfort for you and resulting in the apprentice hyper focusing on a good result. A service of this magnitude would take a competent senior stylist 6-8 hours to complete, as stated on all our printed material and our website Apprentices are new to the industry and services will take considerably longer. Having assessed your before and after photos it does seem a little more than 2 inches has been removed from your length leaving you with hair 2 inches below the shoulders, a more experienced stylist would know to cut of less than agreed to allow for shrinkage. Your feedback has certainly been constructive and will provide the apprentice with ways to improve to complete her qualification. Services with an apprentice are not recommended for anybody with anxiety as this is not only unfair to the customer already in anxiety provoking situation, but also for the apprentice who is new to the industry and still learning. I personally will ensure in future to discuss at length with the customer prior to their appointment to ensure they get the level of stylist best suited to their needs.
