We are a warm and welcoming salon just minutes from the centre of Harrogate and pride ourselves on delivering great hairdressing, and great customer service, every time you visit.


Owned by North Eastern hairdresser of the year 2016 & former F.A.M.E and Sebastian Cult Team member Joseph Ferraro, Joseph Ferraro hair has also been finalist 5 years running in the British Hairdressing awrads, the team at Joseph Ferraro Hair is both talented and very welcoming.

As ever I was greeted warmly by name by the receptionist. I enjoyed the coffee and the little biscuits! Lauren my stylist was her usual cheerful self, questioning me closely to ensure that she had good feedback as to my needs and wants. The result was excellent. I like the way she develops my hairstyle. It is very good to have a hairdresser who really listens and is sensitive to my needs. Sadly I never leave the salon looking like the girls in the photographs in the window. I wonder why?!!!!!!!

All the staff that I am involved with are excellent, from the receptionist, the charming young lady who washed my hair (whose name escapes me) and Lauren who is my stylist is excellent. She works with me to develop my hair style, listening and responding and always coming up with a solution. I am always pleased with the result. Coming to the salon is generally a good experience except when I was put downstairs on my own to have colour put on my hair which I did not like.

We are very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy being in the downstairs part of our salon. We always try to make the salon environment as comfortable as possible for all our clients. We try to utilise the whole salon as best as possible. We are aware that downstairs is a quieter environment but we do find some of our clients prefer this when we are very busy upstairs. If you prefer to be upstairs please advise us on the day and we will try to accommodate you. Thank you very much for your continued custom and we look forward to seeing you in the salon soon.
