Texture hair is an amazing place with amazing people. Everyone there communicates very well, is very nice and professional. I’ve been a customer for a few months and they are the only place I trust with my hair. Many thanks to Yonkel and the team at texture for creating a safe and positive environment.

My first time visiting and it was such a lovely experience and vibe in the salon. Yonkel was my stylist - extremely professional and warm, giving me loads of tailored tips and guidance for my hair and concerns I had. I’ll be back!

Today was my first time here. I can for a consultation and had two very in depth conversations about colour options but also the cut I was hoping to achieve with my hair. Yonkel took the time to actually look at my hair and that before I’d even booked. I had loads of tips before my hair was even done which was great and not something you get everywhere. I missed my appointment with her unfortunately and didn’t know how to feel today because I’d booked with a different stylist but Josh was great too. I’ve had curl specific cuts before and paid a bit more and despite asking have never had my hair framed to my face. But I love how this cut sits. Everyone in the salon is genuinely so lovely and I’m really pleased with how I left. I can’t believe I came across Texture by doomscrolling on TicTok but I’m glad I did. Committing to a single salon and even a single stylist is well overdue for me and there just something wholesome about a well run black business. I don’t have a bad word to say and looking forward to my next visit.

Yonkel is an incredible stylist and absolutely lovely woman. Had a great chat, felt relaxed and at ease the whole time as she kept me informed along the way of what was happening and gave me sound advice on next steps. Will 100% be rebooking. I looove my cut!
