The only reason for the 6 for environment was that the upstairs salon was so noisy! It was difficult to hear what Zoe and I were saying. Blinds, curtains, swooshes etc would help to dull the echo here (although they may not be to the taste of the salon decor, so this could be a permanent problem?. Quality great but the stylist was late starting my appointment hence 8. Lovely busy atmosphere and very polite cheerful staff. I love the ethos behind their natural products range.

I only come to Harper for Emmy, her work is unreal, she knows just what I want without me even knowing what I want. I never leave unhappy. Her service is amazing and I’ll never go without seeing her. Thanks Emmy

Despite being really popular, Harpers feels calm, clean and serene inside and I always leave feeling refreshed. Cat really takes the time to understand what I’m after and I leave with my hair looking beautiful but - more importantly - it still looks great when I’ve washed it myself and left it to air dry while rushing around. The salon is really friendly and there’s always a warm welcome (and a nice coffee in a proper cup). Not the cheapest option, but having tried cheaper options I keep coming back because I have never, ever left an appointment and been tempted to tweak the results with the kitchen scissors! Excellent service from skilled staff who really listen to what you want.
