First time I have used bloc and my experience was very good. I would definitely use them again. It’s expensive but for the quality of service and attention to detail, I would say it’s worth it. Environment was comfortable but air con would have been nice. Friendly and polite staff who give your hair and style very good attention and they seem to want to do a good job for themselves. They also focus on you as their customer and are not trying to fit multiple customers in or running out for their breaks which was nice to see.

My appointment was for a restyle from shoulder length hair to very short. Bo listened to my requirements, looked at the photos I had brought and discussed my preferences for haircare. Very happy with the result which is exactly what I envisaged. A very positive experience and I will book again.

I treated myself by making an appointment at Bloc Hair. Not only I got a haircut, but also a restyle, excellent and useful professional advice and even a relaxing hair massage. The hairdresser Karlton was definitely helpful and friendly; he provided me with some impartial and honest tips,for me try to obtain the same results when washing and drying my hair by myself.

As usual I love my haircut, which is why I keep coming back! I have had my haircut many times in Reading at different hairdressers and been disappointed. But not at bloc - my hair is always cut beautifully.

The salon was very clean and welcoming. Sam was very friendly as well as other stylist there. She listens to what I wanted and gave good advice. Very happy with my cut and colour.

It is the best hair salon in Reading! My hair was cut by Alan and he always pays attention to details. He patiently listens to what you want and then gives opinion of how he can achieve the same in your hair realistically. It is my second time here, and I will be returning back for any hair services here! Even though a bit on the expensive side, the quality of the products and the services are great. So I guess it makes up for it!
