The salon at 53 opened in May 2013. Our salon is made up of 7 staff members where between us all are able to carry out all aspects of hairdressing.
Our salon promises to deliver a top quality service and pride ourselves on having a very loyal and regular clientele ranging in all ages.
We only employ fully qualified hairdressers and indentured apprentices who will use top quality products supported by continuous education to achieve excellent results.
Our prices are based on the time we allow for each appointment and the experience of each individual stylist. We offer appointments with junior, senior and specialist sylists.
We understand at The salon at 53 that every individual has a specific need, so we are happy to provide and welcome each client to a FREE in depth consultation before making any appointment to discuss their needs and budget, in doing so it provides us with the opportunity to achieve and deliver your desired results.

Felt a little nervous as this was my first visit since lockdown. Needn't have worried everything was well organised and I felt completely safe. It is very strange though having your hair cut by someone wearing a mask and I wouldn't want to to work in one all day so all credit to everyone at the salon. Mind you I do look forward to the return of coffee and magazines one day! Well done The Salon at 53!
