The salon at 53 opened in May 2013. Our salon is made up of 7 staff members where between us all are able to carry out all aspects of hairdressing.
Our salon promises to deliver a top quality service and pride ourselves on having a very loyal and regular clientele ranging in all ages.
We only employ fully qualified hairdressers and indentured apprentices who will use top quality products supported by continuous education to achieve excellent results.
Our prices are based on the time we allow for each appointment and the experience of each individual stylist. We offer appointments with junior, senior and specialist sylists.
We understand at The salon at 53 that every individual has a specific need, so we are happy to provide and welcome each client to a FREE in depth consultation before making any appointment to discuss their needs and budget, in doing so it provides us with the opportunity to achieve and deliver your desired results.

A very good salon. My hair is frizzy in the sea air, but staff at Salon 53 provide good advice and a good service. They are professional and friendly. When I leave, I feel 'human' again, because my hair is so much better than I can do myself.
