There was a 30min delay to my haircut and during this time I wasn’t offered any water, coffee etc which was disappointing.

Usually for a haircut I would allow 20-30 minutes but that was the time I waited to be seen to have my hair washed. The hair stylist was great and the situation was not her fault. There is something wrong with the booking and administrative side when a quick hair cut takes over an hour and I had to extend my car parking. The service I received from the hair stylist was great but the way in which the appointment was managed by I assume the salon manager was not.

The environment is lovely, and I really like the feel of the salon. However, if I come in and say I want a choppy layered haircut then it's what I expect. Instead I left with a minor chopped in layer, and pretty much looking the same. I really like the lady who did my hair, but it maybe felt like she was scared to chop too much off. Even when I said it felt a bit too heavy still, she just went in with thinning scissors which hasn't given me the choppy look I was aiming for unfortunately.

Advice on cut, cutting and blow dry was fine. No issues. For better "special" experience an offer of a beverage, some pleasantries and follow up on showing me how to blow dry a fringe as had been offered would've made it more of a special experience.

It was a pity that the salon was just too busy for anyone to give the level of service that I have come to expect from past experience, which had always been good, and why I had returned. The stylist was curt and distracted, and failed to introduce herself. I felt uncomfortable, and I eventually gave up trying to make conversation. The cut was well executed but rushed; I wished I had the courage to ask for some adjustments in the layering. I regretted asking for an unscheduled blow-dry, clearly I was taking too much time already. I paid up and left with my tail between my legs.

Quite disappointed with my visit today. My hair cut lasted 20 minutes!!! My hair wasn’t blow dried professionally - literally just how I do it at home - rough and ready. My hair wasn’t combed prior to straightening and therefore kept pulling with little knots - really quite uncomfortable. The lady did change my appointment meaning I paid less but, honestly £30 for 20 minutes is still not good. Honestly, very underwhelming today.
